TNR Volunteers

Cape Clear TNR 2012There are loads of individuals and organisations volunteering in TNR around Ireland (currently no funding is available for paid positions). If you’re looking for someone to help you out with your feral colony, check here for those available in your area. If you don’t see anyone, maybe you’d like to train in TNR, borrow traps and equipment and get cracking yourself.

Keep in mind that there are trappers who aren’t on this list – some don’t want the publicity (they’ve plenty to be getting on with without it!), some simply don’t know about Feral Cats Ireland. To find trappers near you it’s worth checking around – ask at your local vets, pet shops, animal welfare organisations – they might know an elusive trappers near you!

Coming Soon!

With designated TNR trainers throughout Ireland, CATalyst is a new initiative, launching in early 2013. They’ll provide you with free TNR training – and free TNR equipment loans on completion of that training. We’ll publish their contact details as soon as they launch. Designated CATalyst TNR trainers are highlighted below.
