Jet and Sandy are looking for their forever homes at KCADR this spring. If you’re interested in Jet or Sandy, or any of KCADR’s rescues, call 087 394 1441 or contact them through their Facebook pages. They’re currently located near Kenmare, Co Kerry, but are prepared to travel for a lovely home.
Jet is a young collie/retriever cross boy. He’s around eight months old and full of beans and fun. He’d love to find a family who’ll play with him and give him lots of fun with training – he’s eager to learn! He was found straying and taken in by KCADR – no guardian came forward so he’s hoping to find a new one who’ll love him as much as he’ll love them. Jet is good with Everything – dogs, humans, kids – you name it, he loves it – though I have to say he’s a wee bit enthusaistic for most cats so, although he loves them, they’re not always so keen on him!
Jet is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and housetrained. He’s a perfect family friend and is waiting to hear from you.
*** REHOMED ***
Sandy is an adorable dog with fab markings that give him the most goofy smile at all times. He’s around three years old and was one of ten dogs rescued from neglect on a farm. He can be a bit nervous as a result but, for the most part, is eager to be friends with just about anyone. He’s good with dogs, cats, kids … and hens! He’s very quick to train and is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and housetrained. If you want a companion who’ll make you smile every time you look at him – Sandy’s the dawg for you!
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Jackie of KCADR just recently. She’s got a fantabulous place for rescues, kennelling – and her own crew! I went up to take photos of the companions who are looking for homes and ended up taking photos of a few who’ve already found their forever homes. And Kelpie, one of the homeless at the time, has headed off to his trial week in the last couple of days. We’re hoping for similar good news for Jet and Sandy. So don’t hesitate to get in touch with KCADR if you’d like to know more – call 087 394 1441 or contact them through their Facebook pages.
You can find all the photos from my visit here. Got some great snaps!
