Bruce Runs Free

Bruce & I headed down to Bantry airstrip today for a wee run round and a sniff or two. He’s so reliable at sticking by my side I risked letting him off the lead – and though he didn’t come back to me straight away every time, he came back pretty quick when called. He’s a lovely young dog, very devoted and faithful – and a very quick learner.

I’ve not spent much time training him I’m afraid, but he’s eager to learn and knows basic commands – though for some reason he thinks ‘Stay’ means ‘Bad Dog’, not sure why – we’ll have to work on that one. He’s starting to let me know when he needs out to go to the loo, but still not quite managed to hold it in all night – so not house trained yet, but getting there.

He’s been neutered and double vaccinated since I last wrote and has put on weight quick enough – looking lovely and healthy now. And all ready for his new home! Get in touch if you’d like to meet this charming boy.
